Recommendations

Transportation

Transfers: Use private transportation (Uber, Didi, etc.) to get to and from the Hippodrome, as it is more convenient than public transportation in terms of time and comfort.

Traffic: Be mindful of traffic, especially in the morning and afternoon. Leave early to avoid delays. The most congested times are usually between 7:00 AM and 9:30 AM, and from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM.

Parking: If you decide to rent a car, make sure your accommodation has parking available, or use the parking at the Hippodrome.

Weather

At the end of October, the weather in Mexico City is usually pleasant, with temperatures around 15-25°C during the day and slightly cooler at night. Bring a light jacket or sweater to stay comfortable throughout the day.

Tourism

If you have free time, you can visit nearby places like the Soumaya Museum, Lincoln Park, or the National Auditorium. These iconic spots are very close to the Hippodrome.

Polanco is probably your best option if you’re looking for comfort, luxury, and proximity to the Hippodrome, but if you prefer something more affordable, Anzures or Naucalpan can also be good options.
