Dress in layers: wear lightweight clothing during the day, but keep a blazer or sweater for cool indoor air conditioning or nightly use.
Sun protection: sunglasses, a hat, and sunscreen are essential when outdoors.
Good, comfortable shoes: be prepared to walk a lot inside the expo and hotel complex.
Carry spare power & adapters: conferences usually involve heavy use of gadgets — a portable charger helps.
Take advantage of time: use early or off-peak hours to explore the Strip, indoor venues, restaurants in the hotel-casino complex, without needing long outside travel.
The Las Vegas Strip is about 6.8 km (4.2 miles) long and contains the highest concentration of hotels, casinos, and convention centers in the city.
It’s one of the brightest places on Earth when viewed from space due to the massive amount of lights and neon signs.
The area hosts some of the largest hotels in the world, such as The Venetian and The Palazzo, with thousands of rooms and full in-house convention facilities.
The Strip was originally just a dusty two-lane highway in the desert. It began its transformation in the 1930s after gambling was legalized in Nevada.
“Las Vegas” means “The Meadows” in Spanish, named after the natural springs and vegetation once found in the valley.
The Strip is well connected via taxi, monorail, Uber/Lyft, and pedestrian overpasses.
It’s a heavily monitored and secure zone, especially around hotels and expo venues—ideal for business travelers.
From anywhere on the Strip, you’re steps away from shopping, dining, entertainment, and world-famous casinos.
TAO Asian Bistro (The Venetian / Palazzo)
Modern Asian cuisine with an elegant atmosphere, ideal for business dinners within the hotel complex.
A great balance between sophisticated ambiance and accessibility.
Ocean Prime Las Vegas
Located on the Strip at CityCenter, featuring a rooftop terrace, three bars, and private meeting rooms.
Excellent for steaks, seafood, and a premium setting.
Sinatra (Wynn Las Vegas / Encore)
Italian fine dining restaurant paying tribute to Frank Sinatra with soft music, classic and private ambiance.
They offer a “Chairman’s Room” for private dinners with selected wines.
